Easy cheese scone


~50-60g butter

1.5cup self raising flour

120ml milk

1 cup mixed cheese grated

0.5cup Parmesan cheese grated

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp sweet paprika

2 tsp mixed herbs

Mixed all together until formed crumbs and add extra milk if dough feels too dry

Shape into flatten balls n brush with excess milk and sprinkle cheese on top

Oven bake fan assist about 190-200 for 10-15 mins until golden brown

Note: Variation can be done by adding bacon to the mixture. Simply add four to five pieces of chopped bacon and follow the steps above. I used short cut rindless bacon. There is no need to pre-cook the bacon in my opinion but that’s up to personal preference. If using streaky bacon, frying up the bacon could render the fat better or if used straight, reduce 10g of butter.
